All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials
the image contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights,
intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
⦁ Eligibility: The contest is open to all residents of the Town of Calumet who are 18 years or older.
⦁ Theme: All submitted photos must represent the beauty and unique features of the Town of Calumet.
This can include landscapes, landmarks, buildings, people, events, or any other feature that captures the
town’s essence. The photo must be taken within the Town of Calumet limits, in its original state, and
cannot be altered in any way.
⦁ Submission Guidelines: Each participant may submit up to two photos, which must be original and
taken within the current year. Photos should be submitted along with the registration form via email
to [email protected] by the submission deadline.
⦁ Judging: Entries will be judged by volunteers appointed by the Town Board. Judges will only see the
photos, not the registration form linked to the entrant. All decisions are final. The Town Board reserves
the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest
rules.
⦁ Ownership and Use of Photos: By submitting a photo to the contest, participants grant the Town of
Calumet a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the images for promotional purposes, including
but not limited to publication on the town’s website, social media channels, and promotional
materials.
⦁ Deadline: All entries must be submitted by November 8th. Submissions will not be accepted
once the deadline lapses.
⦁ Prize: One contest winner will have their photo featured on the official Town of Calumet website
and social media channel. The winner will also receive a custom-made Town of Calumet cribbage
board.
⦁ Notification: The winner will be contacted via the phone number provided on the entry form. All other
nonwinners will be notified via email.
⦁ Disclaimer: The Town of Calumet is running the contest and Facebook is in no way responsible or
affiliated with it. The Town of Calumet, the town board & the contest judges are not responsible for
any errors, omissions, or technical difficulties that may occur during the submission or judging process.
The Town Board reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time, without notice.
